merging clans

the most asking questions in mine clan are :

-which clan name
-the clantags
-forum
-leaders

my members wanna know this, to make a final decicion.

so we need to talk about this

It isn't a merger it will be a take over if it does place it will remain
Necromongers that will not change
the clan tag will be <N.M>, however, i will tolerate W3K being placed afterwards or some kind of slice but <N.M> will remain first
We will continue to use the Necromonger forums
The leadership will be that of NM though we may choose a W3k member to be part of a lower level of leadership to ease the we3kings in.. if later on we find that members from we3kings are active on the game and forums then they will be able to rise through the ranks the SAME as X3401 has done so

These points are non-negotiable however i will still allow people to make points which they feel need to be included i have no problem with that at all

what i see here in your clan:(no offence)
your clan is probably more death then mine, ur members are non active their are maybe 3 members active that's all (no offence)
our members are every day active, so y do i and deathwish give u the charge, its kinda unfair (no offence)
could we negotiate for this

Hi, this is De4ThW1sH, and i was thinking this :

"New Clan, New Forums, Owners and Admins of both clans are admins in new clan."

But since its non-negotiable, i doubt it will happen.

I think that what i have stated is fairer for everyone, the only unfair thing i see is that the person who would create the clan would be superior to everyone else.

New forums is too much hard work.
we currently have 5 active members plus one who will not be able to play for a short time.
I also have an idea but I will propose it if this doesn't work out.

If making new forums is to much work, i will make them it if my idea is allowed, and i would make all owners and admins in-game admins on the forums

don't make to fast dececions, if we wanna become "one" (sounds gay ). we need good rules.

what i had in mind goes as followed

we will have 2 leaders if we become one

1 leader of nm and 1 leader of w3k
the other 2 leader can have the leadership next months, a swithing system.
i think this sounds fine for everybody

I dont really trust switching systems, i dont know why. I think i dont because i just think that the "clan" if we do it will be run differnetly every few months, so then everything will be even more hectic

I'm not bothered about merging either way i'm happy with the people we have ... i don't know any of your members and have only played against a few.... I'm not disolving necromongers like i said this clan will still exist... If your more active than us why do you want to merge so badly. Surely you will be able to get as many members as you want if you are active i recruited every single one of the members in this clan past and present excluding X3401 who found us after i created a post on the ETQW forums. We may be small but we have a central group and we all get on well.

I have no problem with your clan joining with us but i can't have a leadership that i don't trust or know as i said i have no problem with your members joining and they will have equal possibilities to rise through the ranks.

I am willing to create a provisional leadership which can contain two of your members it will be up to your clan to decide who but the other two people will be me and Xblade as we are the founders of necromongers, however, there can be other members in positions of power such as recruiters who can be given the ability in the game to invite new members to the clan.

Switching systems will fail miserable i have seen them attempted before disagreements occur tears clans apart this is not therefore viable. However, clans are not authortarian they will absorb new ideas. The important is for the clan not to become complacent, as honestly i have become for a variety of reasons.. this is why i suggested earlier on people who can recruit new members for the clan but of course this can take time and effort when i was recruiting for this clan i recruited perhaps one in three of the people i spoke too who i thought would be worthwhile for the clan.

<N.M> is a recognised clan by many people as we have been around since november/ december of last year much longer than W3K i am not saying anything by this simply that people are more likely to join long er standing clans than they are new ones i found this out when i recruited initally.

Finally there has been bad blood between Ani and the rest of myclan for a long time due to various incidents. I think that many of our members would find it difficult to tolerate ani as a leader of the new hybrid clan i have reservations about even allowing him to join however in a gesture of good faith i will allow him to join the clan without opposition but at the first sign of trouble this very very very fragile coalition will collapse and snap into two pieces again

yep i'm on daily atm and i got bored of quake live after 2 days

yeh, i played 4 months ago when i logged in today i had a badge of "not playing in 3 months" lol

Invites are sent just waiting on them being accepted... hold on a second now i just looked at your members activity levels many havn't been on for more than 2 weeks others in more than a month, however, it appears the stat site is stuffed as apparently i havn't been on for 2 weeks when i was on yesterday

its the site, it said I hadn't been on for 10 years.

its probably something to do with the activision takeover...
