Hello people,
I have been a member of the steam gameing community for well over two years now. So I thought it would be a good idea to expand the clan to the source Mods.
On steam there are hundreds of free mods running on the source engin, many of them are online muiltyplayer.
So I thought I would write a quick guide on how to get and install steam and source forts. (one of my favorite mods.)
1.Firstly visit http://store.steampowered.com/ and download the steam client and install it.
2.After it has finished installing create an account and log in.
3.When you are logged in open the tools tab and download the one that says source SDK base. (may take a while to download depending on your connection)
4.When it has downloaded visit http://www.sourcefortsmod.com/ and download the v1.9.4.1.
5.When it has downloaded go to the C drive and open program files, then open the valve folder, the open the steamApps folder, then open the sourcemods folder and the extract the sourceforts file in there,
6.Then reboot steam and play away
